To book shifts and get paid, you must first verify your identity with Stripe.
How to set it up:
Open the ESHYFT app to see the "Add a payout method" prompt.
Tap Continue to open the secure Stripe window.
New Users: Enter your email and follow the steps to verify your identity.
Existing Stripe Users: Enter the email or phone number linked to your existing Stripe account to connect it instantly.
โ ๏ธ Important: Avoid Verification Delays
If your identity verification fails or gets stuck, it is usually because the information entered does not perfectly match your official government records.
To ensure instant approval, please verify the following before submitting:
Legal Name: Must match the name on your Social Security card exactly. Do not use nicknames, shortened names (e.g., "Dan" vs "Daniel"), or omit your middle name if it appears on your legal documents.
Social Security Number (SSN): Double-check that the SSN you entered is correct. If the form asks for the last 4 digits, they must match your legal identity records.
Home Address: You must enter a real, valid physical address. Check for typos or formatting errors (e.g., "Apt" vs "Apartment") that might cause the system to reject it. A PO box will not be accepted as a valid address.
Date of Birth: Ensure you enter your correct date of birth (MM/DD/YYYY) as it appears on your government ID. Even a one-day difference will cause verification to fail.
Phone Number: Enter a valid mobile phone number where you can receive text messages (SMS). Stripe uses this to send verification codes, so it must be a number you currently have access to.
If your information does not match these records exactly, your onboarding will not complete and you will be unable to access instant pay in 2026.
Why is this required?
We use Stripe to ensure secure, compliant, and fast payments. You cannot pick up a shift until this identity check is complete.
