Background location allows ESHYFT’s shift-tracking features to continue working when the app is minimized, your phone is locke.
iPhone (iOS)
When your iPhone asks whether ESHYFT can continue using your location:
Select Change to Always Allow.
Make sure Precise Location remains turned on.
To update the permission manually:
Open Settings.
Select Privacy & Security.
Tap Location Services.
Select ESHYFT.
Select Always.
Turn on Precise Location.
Return to the ESHYFT app.
Selecting While Using the App may prevent shift tracking from working while ESHYFT is running in the background.
Android
To enable background location:
Open Settings.
Select Apps.
Select ESHYFT.
Tap Permissions.
Select Location.
Select Allow all the time.
Turn on Use precise location, if available.
Return to the ESHYFT app.
Selecting Allow only while using the app may prevent shift tracking from working while ESHYFT is running in the background.
Menu names may vary slightly depending on your device and Android version.
