Technology can be tricky! If you are at the facility but the app wonโ€™t let you clock in (or out), don't panic. You can still work your shift and get paid by submitting a manual timecard form.

Step 1: Try this quick fix first ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ

Before submitting a form, try these troubleshooting steps to see if you can get the app to work:

  1. Connect to the facility's Wi-Fi: This is the #1 fix for location/GPS errors.

  2. Toggle Airplane Mode: Turn it on for 5 seconds and then off again to reset your connection.

  3. Check Permissions: Ensure your phoneโ€™s location settings for ESHYFT are set to "While Using the App" or "Always."

Step 2: If it still won't work, switch to manual mode ๐Ÿ“

If you still cannot clock in, please proceed to work your scheduled shift as normal. You will just need to manually report your hours afterwards.

Here is what to do:

  1. Track your hours: Write down your exact clock-in and clock-out times.

  2. Get a signature (Crucial): For us to verify your shift, we need proof that you were there. You must get a facility supervisor (Charge Nurse or DON) to sign a paper confirming your hours.

    • Tip: You can download our official form here, or simply have them sign a piece of paper with the Date, Your Name, Start/End Times, and their Signature.

  3. Submit the form: Once you have your signed proof, take a photo of it and upload it to our Missed Timecard Punch Form at the link below:

โš ๏ธ Important Deadlines

  • Sunday at 4:00 PM EST: All manual forms must be submitted by this time to ensure you get paid in next week's pay.

  • Verification: Our payments team will review your submission and confirm the details with the facility before processing your pay.
