ESHYFT supports holiday pay when a CNA, STNA, LNA, GNA, LPN, or RN works a recognized holiday.

We calculate the holiday rate as x1.5 (time and a half) of the hourly rate of the shift for which the nurse or aide applied.

Recognized holidays are:

  • New Years Day

    Night shift (start 12/31 - end 1/1)

    Day shift (start 1/1 - end 1/1)

    Evening shift (start 1/1 - end 1/1)

  • Memorial Day (2024)

Day shift (start 5/27 - end 5/27)

Evening shift (start 5/27 - end 5/27)

Night shift (start 5/27 - end 5/28)

  • 4th of July

Day shift (start 7/4 - end 7/4)

Evening shift (start 7/4 - end 7/4)

Night shift (start 7/4 - end 7/5)

  • Labor Day (2024)

Day shift (start 9/2 - end 9/2)

Evening shift (start 9/2 - end 9/2)

Night shift (start 9/2 - end 9/3)

  • Thanksgiving (2024)

Day shift (start 11/28 - end 11/28)

Evening shift (start 11/28 - end 11/28)
