ESHYFT supports holiday pay and overtime when a CNA, STNA, LNA, GNA, LPN, or RN works over 40 hours on a designated holiday.

We calculate the holiday overtime rate as x2 of the hourly rate of the shift for which you were confirmed.

For example: If you are confirmed for a shift on a holiday, and the rate is $20/hr, but you would also be earning overtime, that rate is x2, making the rate $40/hr.

Designated holidays are:

  • New Years Day

Night shift (start 12/31 - end 01/01)

Day shift (start 1/1 - end 1/1)

Evening shift (start 1/1 - end 1/1)
