Urgent shifts are shifts that another nurse has called out of. Urgent shifts may be regular shifts (requiring a confirmation from facility) or instant book shifts (no confirmation required).
Can I update my urgent shift alerts?
Yes, you can update the distance in the settings of the ESHYFT for Nurses app.
Under the "MORE" tab of the app, select the "MY ESHYFT" section.
Tap on "NOTIFICATION SETTINGS," and scroll to "NEARBY SHIFT ALERTS" either under "PUSH NOTIFICATIONS" or "EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS."
You will find the distance slider and you can adjust the distance to be as close as 1 mile away and as far as 100 miles away.
Can I turn off urgent shift push notifications and email alerts?
Yes, if you do not want to see urgent shifts near you, you can turn this setting off.
Under the "MORE" tab of the app, select the "MY ESHYFT" section.
Tap on "NOTIFICATION SETTINGS," and scroll to "NEARBY SHIFT ALERTS" either under "PUSH NOTIFICATIONS" or "EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS."
Turn the distance slider to 0 miles and toggle the "URGENT NEARBY SHIFT ALERTS" button off.
