We understand that there are instances where your patient requires more care and you have to stay past your scheduled shift.

In this case, when the original end time for your shift comes up, you will be instructed to either clock out or select 'I've been authorized to extend my shift, keep me clocked in.'

Following your selection, a pop up will appear, confirming that your shift has been extended. When you have completed your shift, please clock out as normal.

What if working past my scheduled shift results in working over 40 hours a week? Is there overtime?

It's also possible for you to earn overtime on an extended shift if it is approved by the facility coordinator or supervisor. You MUST be approved to work overtime.

Any hours worked after 40 hours* will be calculated at an overtime rate.

If you have any questions about extended shifts or overtime, please email [email protected].

*Overtime is applied to the last confirmed shift in a pay period.
