Adjusting your sorting settings in the ESHYFT for Nurses app is an easy way to narrow the results of shifts in your area.

You can sort four different ways:

  1. Hourly rate: Highest to lowest

  2. Distance: Nearest to furthest

  3. Date: Soonest to latest

  4. Added: Newest to oldest

The default sorting is set by date, soonest to latest.

Sorting shifts from the LIST view

To adjust your sort setting, select "Rate: highest to lowest," which is found in the gray bar above the list of shifts.

A pop-up will appear listing the four different ways you can sort your results. Select one of the options and view the re-ordered list.

Sorting shifts from the MAP view

In addition to being able to sort the shifts in the "LIST" tab of the "SHIFTS" screen, you are also able to view shifts from a specific facility utilizing the "MAP" tab of the app and sort those.

There is one difference: You cannot sort by distance because it's showing shifts from a single facility.

You still can sort by:

  1. Hourly rate: Highest to lowest

  2. Date: Soonest to latest

  3. Added: Newest to oldest

Sorting shifts from the Calendar view

The last way you can find shifts is in the 'CALENDAR' tab. In the 'CALENDAR' tab, you will see the current month reflected. For each day of the month, you'll see shift status, which clearly marks shift availability for any given day. When you click on a day, you will see a breakdown of shifts categorized by Day, Evening, and Night, along with a count of shifts available.

When you click on Day, Evening, or Night, you will be brought to a list of shifts in your area for that date at that time of day.

You can sort these shifts by:

  1. Hourly rate: Highest to lowest

  2. Distance: Nearest to furthest

  3. Date: Soonest to latest

  4. Added: Newest to oldest
