To give you more peace of mind and ensure facilities are ready for your arrival, we’ve introduced two new features: Shift Verification and ETA Sharing.
By completing these simple steps on confirmed shifts, you protect your schedule and your earnings.
Why use these features?
Lower Cancellation Risk: Facilities are much less likely to cancel when they know you’ve confirmed.
Secure Your Spot: Once verified, we stop looking for potential replacements for that shift.
Guaranteed Pay: Verifying your shift ensures you are eligible for pay in the event of a late cancellation by the facility.
1. Verifying Your Shift
Starting 12 hours before your shift begins, you’ll be asked to confirm that you’re still good to go.
How to verify:
Look for the Alert: You’ll receive a push notification and see a banner at the top of your app dashboard.
Open the Form: Tap the notification or banner to open the verification screen.
Confirm Attendance: * Tap “I’ll be there” to secure your spot.
If your plans have changed, tap “I can’t make it” to be directed to the callout screen.
IMPORTANT: The verification window closes 2 hours before your shift starts. Be sure to confirm early!
2. Sharing Your ETA
Starting 2 hours before your shift begins, you can let the facility know when to expect you.
How to share your ETA:
Check the App: A new banner will appear 2 hours before your start time.
Confirm Departure: Tap the banner and verify your departure time.
Check Permissions: Ensure your location permissions are enabled so we can calculate your arrival time based on real-time traffic.
Submit: Tap “Share ETA.”
Need to update your time?
If you run into unexpected traffic or a delay, you can update your arrival time:
Go to "Shift Details."
Tap the "Update" option next to your ETA to submit a new arrival time.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I don't verify in time?
If you don't verify by the 2-hour cutoff, the facility may assume you aren't coming, which could lead to your shift being reassigned.
Do I have to keep my GPS on?
We only use your location to calculate the initial traffic estimate when you tap "Share ETA." However, enabling location permissions ensures the most accurate arrival time for the facility.
What if I can no longer make the shift?
If you tap “I can’t make it” during either the Verification or ETA step, the app will guide you through the standard callout process.
