We know you're here for flexible scheduling, so we've updated our callout policy to reflect that.
When you call out of a shift with more than 4 hours notice, it won't be counted as a callout.
So call out as early as possible and enjoy the freedom to control your schedule.
What is a callout?
A callout happens when:
You apply for or book a shift
You get confirmed for a shift
You call out of the confirmed shift when there are less than 4 hours to the shift start time
If you need to reschedule, simply call out from the shift on your app. Please see How do I call out of a confirmed shift? for instructions.
Can Callouts be removed or expired?
No, callouts cannot be removed or excused, but they will expire 1 year after submitting the callout.
Please note, once an account is deactivated for callouts, a callout expiring will not reactivate the account.
Callout Limits
There are no callout limits, but accounts will be reviewed based on your overall work history, including both worked shifts and callouts.
Facilities may also DNR you based on your callout rate or last-minute callouts, which can limit where you can pick up shifts.
NCNS's will result in removal from the platform. A NCNS is any confirmed shift that is not called out in the app, regardless of outside communication.
Types of Callouts: Regular, Short Notice, and Super Short Notice
Regular Callouts
4 hours or more before shift start time
A callout is considered a Regular Callout if you call out more than 4 hours before a shift’s start time. We consider this a regular need to reschedule and the callout will not show on your record.
Short Notice Callouts
Between 2 & 4 hours before shift start time
A callout is considered short notice if you request the callout between 2 - 4 hours before shift start time.
Super Short Notice Callouts
Less than 2 hours before shift start time
A callout is considered Super Short notice if you request the callout between 0 - 2 hours before shift start time.
