Regular Shifts
Regular shifts require a 2-step shift application process:
A nurse applies for a shift
A facility manager confirms the applied nurse to the shift
You will get notified once you've been confirmed for a shift and see it in your schedule. You will also get reminders about the shift close to the start time.
InstaSHYFTs
InstaSHYFTs are booked instantly and do not require confirmation. Just like with regular shifts, you will receive reminders about the shift close to the start time.
If you need to cancel a shift, please read 'What are the rules regarding canceling my shift as a nurse or aide?'
4. Clocking into your shift
Clocking in is easy, just clock in when you're at the facility and starting your shift, and clock out when you're done. When clocking out, you will also be asked to indicate whether you took a meal break. See more step-by-step details on clocking in/out here.
5. Submitting your timecard
After you clock out, you can submit your timecard, indicating if you took a lunch break. Once you submit your timecard a facility manager will get notified and review your timecard. Pay is processed the following pay period.
